 This week in writing we have been looking at recounts and how we can improve our writing.  We started looking at our writing rubrics and understanding how to find what level pieces of writing are.

Great and Grands day

 Today was meant to be Greats and Grands day at our school.  This has been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19.  We wanted to still share some writing about our amazing grandparents.  Here is my work.

Recount writing Term 4

 We have been learning how to write interesting recount writing by including adjectives and verbs.  I hope you enjoy my story.

Procedural writing

 We have been learning to write instructions to complete a task.

How to wash your hands.

What you need: towel, water, soap.

1. Turn on the tap and rinse your hands.

2. Then squeeze the soap on your hands.

3. Then squeeze the soap together and wash your hands for 20 seconds and sing.

4. Then turn the tap back on and rinse your hands again.

5. Then dry your hands on the towel.

6. Then turn it off.

Persuasive Writing

We read a story and had to decide if Rufus could go to school.
